To help cure the ongoing pandemic boredom, Dua Lipa performed a special virtual concert this weekend called Studio 54. Not only did the performance feature appearances from a plethora of celebs, but it also featured an ’80s-inspired set and several epic costume changes.Dua Lipa’s “Studio 2054” livestream concert event drew a whopping 5 million-plus global views this is a record for a paid livestream. There was over 1.9 million unique log-ins from China, 95,000 from India and 263,264 tickets sold across regular ticketing platforms.

Ben Mawson from Lipa’s management TaP Music commented: “We are estimating over 5 million viewers based on more than one person watching each stream, but the real number may be closer to 8 or 9 million. I expect a lot of families watched together. It was a massive undertaking but I am so proud that once again Dua has shown herself to be one of the biggest pop stars in the world.”
