If you are going to be in the greater Los Angeles area during the weekend of February 7th & 8th, and find yourself looking for something to do, check out the Los Angeles A Cappella Festival! This is a weekend-long event showcasing not only some of the biggest names around in a cappella music, but also workshops, master classes, lectures, and more for enthusiasts of one of the most unique musical art forms ever conceived.
Held at El Segundo High School in El Segundo, CA, the event itself will include showcases and live performances from giants in the world of a cappella music, such as HIVE, Street Corner Renaissance, Backtrack, Business Casual, Aperture, LA-local group The Over Tones, who will serve as event hosts, and many more!
The festivities also include an open-to-the-public a cappella competition, and prospective entrants can register here. Between the workshops, classes, contests and live performances, there will be something on-hand for every music aficionado to enjoy! Tickets for the event range from $45-70, depending on your level of engagement and access desired.
